Mini Art Edition Swap Idea

I've been thinking a lot about correspondence and art swaps over the past few years and I think it would be great to get a group of people together to make an edition swap happen. They're fun and easy and who doesn't like getting new artwork? Flat works no bigger than 8" x 10" with about 10 or so folks participating .

We could do it every few months over a years span of time. With 4 themes that we could decide on. I would be more than happy to organize the mailing end of it and I don't feel that it would cost that much to do.

If you would like to get in on this idea, lets talk!

Stranger's Story - An Intimate Show of Sorts.

Over the past few years I have been collaborating on and off with singer/ songwriter and close friend, Brooke Brown-Saracino. This past winter we had a show together bringing a live music performance and art show, both intimate in nature and content to a small and intimate gallery space in San Francisco. You can learn more about that show at: www.thespareroomproject.net/strangersstory.html

We are currently organizing a West Coast tour for early 2010, to bring this same show idea on the road up and down the coast. If you have space and think it might be a good fit for our show idea, we should talk. I may be reach at

Collections

Collections.
We've all got them in one form or another.
I'm looking for weird ones.
Yes it has been done before, but why not again?
I'd like to photograph your collection and talk to you about it.
It could anything from your prized stick collection, to gi joes, or you secret shoe lace collection.
Really anything.

I'll be in the North East (Western Mass) the last week of August and would love to see what you've got.
Otherwise if you're in or around the Bay Area, Lets meet up!

A Brief Explanation and Greeting.

Hello. Thanks for taking a second to see what this is all about. So I am constantly thinking about creative projects and ideas that I rarely share with others, or at least only a few. The idea behind having a blog is to do just this and hopefully connect with a larger amount of people about some of the things I've been thinking about and maybe get some of you involved. This is me attempting to make it happen.

Cheers.
